MEDWAY - GRINDSTONE - Beatrice "Bea" (Porter) Fraser, 94, passed away February 10, 2020. She was born October 6, 1925 in Grindstone, the daughter of Raymond & Lilla (Myrick) Porter.

They moved back to Grindstone, had 2 children, Barry and Stephen, and spent 76 years together until Dad passed in 2019. Mom and Dad had many great years in Grindstone. Mom loved to have all the family gather together for picnics on the front lawn. Mom especially loved to have all the little ones around – her eyes would always sparkle when they came around. Mom loved to knit, play scrabble, watch the game shows and root for the Red Sox, win or lose.

Beatrice is survived by her son, Stephen and his wife, Stephanie; grandchildren: Raymond & Geri Fraser, Robin & Rick McLaughlin, Elizabeth & Tom Fraser-Reed; Great Grandchildren: Matthew Fraser, Morgan Fraser and fiancé James Cassidy, Emily Fraser-Reed, Sadie Fraser-Reed, and Brooke and Michael York; Great Great Grandchildren : Lyla York, Luke York and Levi York, with 2 more on the way. She was predeceased by her Parents; Husband , James; Son, Barry and his wife Frances.

The family would like to thank all the people at Colonial Health Care in Lincoln for the care and compassion they gave Mom while she was there. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Faith Baptist Church PO Box 516, Millinocket, Maine 04462. Friends may call from 10 - 11 am, Tuesday, February 18 at the Faith Baptist Church, 244 Massachusetts Ave. Millinocket. Services will follow at 11 am with Pastor Ian Shearer officiating.
