Obituary for William Paul Folsom

William Paul  Folsom
HODGDON- William P. Folsom, 70, died February 7, 2020 in Presque Isle. He was born September 16, 1949 in Houlton, the son of Paul and Kathleen (Little) Folsom. He is a veteran of the US Army serving during Vietnam receiving the Army commendation with a ā€œVā€œ for valor. Also retiring from the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Rockabema Lodge #78 Odd Fellows and the American Legion post #47 Houlton.

He survived by his wife of 48 years, Gloria (Drake) Folsom, of Hodgdon; A daughter, Michele, and Curt Thibodeau of Glenburn; a son, James and Amanda Folsom, of Littleton; Four grandchildren: Devin, Gage, Fletcher and Ali; Three brothers: Mike (Wendy) Folsom of Hammond Plantation, Bruce (Helen) Folsom of Hodgdon and Jeff (Tammy) Folsom of Knob Noster, Missouri; Two brothers in law: Wayne (Ruth) Drake and Graydon (Kathy) Drake all of Houlton; Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and an infant daughter, Debra.

Friends may call 10:30 - 11:30 AM, Tuesday Feb. 11 at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St. Houlton, with funeral services being held at 11:30am with Rev Randall Burns Off. Spring interment will be in the Hodgdon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the charity of ones choice and to leave condolences and share memories please visit
