Obituary for Martha J. Dickinson (King)

Martha  J.  Dickinson  (King)
OAKFIELD - Martha J. Dickinson of Oakfield passed suddenly September 5, 2019 in Houlton. She was born March 25, 1941 in Altona, New York the daughter of David and Christina (Bromley) King.

She is a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the Frank B. Holden American Legion Post #52 of Oakfield. She touched many lives as a substitute teacher and worked as an RN for several years as a Public Health Nurse. She enjoyed knitting socks and hats for area school children.

She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Robert (Harley) Dickinson of Oakfield; Six children: Henry Paul Forest of Warren, David Forest and friend Lynn of Florida, Catherine Forest and friend Larry of Monticello, Ann Forest of New Hampshire, Danielle and Joe Laudani of New Hampshire, and Michelle and Ron Davis of Fryeburg; daughter-in-law, Marion Forest and son-in-law, Craig Kennedy. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren: Jackie and Chris Goulet, Michael and Alicia Forest, Melanie and Zack Batchelder, David and Bruna Forest, Colby Forest and friend Becky, Brian McInnis, Jason McInnis, and Dawson Goff, as well as 7 great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Savanah, Avery, Amelia, Waylon, Novalie and Lilly; One sister, Alice Perry, of New York; brothers: Delbert King of Florida and Donald King of Kittery. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers Wayne and Walter.
