DYER BROOK - Anthony Gillotti, 96, died April 20, 2018 in Houlton. He was born April 19, 1922 on a farm in New Fairfield, CT, the son of Peter and Lydia (DiNapoli) Gillotti, one of ten children.
Anthony was a small engine mechanic. He loved music and even had a professional musical career playing the guitar and mandolin. He enjoyed being a ham radio operator (WAIPLZ), fishing, being in nature, spending time in his orchard and gardening, especially growing his cherry tomatoes. Anthony was a hard working family man who approached life with great wit, a sense of humor, kindness and lots of love.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie (Awrytis) Gillotti of Dyer Brook; 3 children, Timothy Gillotti of Dyer Brook, Patricia (Steven) Silvestri of Westminster, VT, Diane (Randy) Gove of Hodgdon; 8 grandchildren; 5 great granddaughters; a sister, Rosemary Potenziani of GA; a brother, Louis Gillotti of SC. He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Alan; his grandson, Arthur R. Gove; his siblings, Peter, Gabriel, Frances, Lucia, Estella, Mary and Carolyn.
